Bologna 1 is my first painting on arriving in Bologna. I have been to the city twice and will go back again. It has an energy and vibrancy about it. The streets are always full of activity and the whirr of traffic. In Summer the street shaded areas, provide respite from the baking heat of the sun. I guess it is one of my favourite cities.
