This is the stunning Large Blue that has been reintroduced successfully in parts of England. This one is developed from photographs taken during our many trips to the Polden Hills in Somerset. The Large Blue can be found in pockets across this part of Somerset. It is a rarity but very distinct in its fluttering across the steep sides of the hills. It can be found in a brief window of time in late July or early August and attracts people from all over the country.
