This landscape, painted on Italian paper, depicts the sprawling Cherry Orchard Jubilee Park in Rochford, Essex - a green refuge born from the place where a vast housing estate could have been. Instead a patchwork of fields and ditches have been shaped into a new park for local people.
I sat on a bench here and chatted with Tim Burrows. From this, we made a film about Mark Fisher. Always be open to the space you are in, I have learned.
